Based in Eastern Tennessee, I photograph intimate weddings and elopements with a calm, candid approach — capturing real connection, quiet moments, and love stories that feel just as true in the mountains as they do at home.
I don’t believe in stiff poses or overly styled moments. I believe in the real stuff — the deep feelings, the belly laughs, the lingering glances, and everything in between. Whether we’re hiking to a hidden lookout, sipping coffee at dawn in that Great Smoky Mountain smog, or love-struck running barefoot through a field of grain, I’ll be there, camera in hand, documenting it all with care.

Our story is proof that “when you know, you know” isn’t just a saying—it’s real life. Two days in, we knew. Three weeks later, we were sketching out wedding plans. Nine months after meeting, Miss Valentine became Mrs. Goldman. Now we channel that same whirlwind joy and grounded faith into the wedding stories we document. We joke that recognizing true love is our superpower… mostly because we saw it in each other almost immediately.
When I prayed for marriage, I didn’t know I was praying for someone who would also share my calling. What I have now is everything I hoped for—just in a way I never expected.

Hey, I’m Hannah—sunrise romantic, heart-on-my-sleeve sentimentalist, and a believer in simple joys and the beauty tucked inside quiet places. I’ve always believed there’s something sacred about the outdoors. That sense of calm, wonder, and intention is something I carry into every love story I document. I’m drawn to couples who connect best in open landscapes—who feel most like themselves under open skies, on quiet trails, or anywhere that feels far from ordinary.

I’m Blake, lead videographer and aerial cinematographer at Val & Co., and one half of our husband-and-wife creative team. I’m a warrior of Christ first, and that foundation shapes the way I serve every couple we work with. Weddings mean a lot to me—not just as events, but as sacred beginnings. Working alongside Hannah is one of my greatest joys—we bring two perspectives, one vision, and the same commitment to telling your story with care.
I love being present for the quiet, meaningful moments you don’t always see: the breath before the vows, the prayers whispered with family, the way your story unfolds naturally when you’re surrounded by the people who matter most. It’s an honor to capture those moments with intention, steadiness, and a heart rooted in service.
